Eliminating the Fear of Wasting Money on a Game

Developed in Various Physical/Digital Mediums

Throughout the Design Process, the Users Feedback is the Key to Success

The First Step

Identifying a Problem & Finding your Goal

Problem Statement: Students who likes to play games in their downtime and need an easy way to find content warnings and accessibility information about a game before purchasing. It can be tricky to find that information online that is both credible and spoiler free.

Goal Statement: Our game content site/app will let users find useful information which will affect how video game players decide on which games to purchase. We will measure effectiveness by allowing the user to rate the game, doing interviews/surveys of user experience, and noting how their buying, returning, and reviewing behavior has changed.

Moving Forward

What’s Next?

To further improve our service, we would continue iterating on our service’s design and layout, making sure to test with each iteration to ensure our site is easily navigable and its services are easy to understand. Additionally, we would do more rounds of accessibility testing, such as making sure our layout is still navigable with different types of colorblindness, adding tools to enlarge or highlight text, and so on.
